HOT HULA fitness ® isolates your larger muscle groups, increasing strength and definition to your core with specific emphasis on the abs, glutes, quads and arms. Inspired by the dances of the Pacific Islands, HOT HULA fitness® incorporates easy to perform dance movements set to the sounds of traditional Polynesian drum beats fused with funky Reggae music, resulting in a modern, hip fitness workout. All ages and fitness levels will enjoy HOT HULA fitness®. No dance or hula experience needed just shake-it and ENJOY !

      kimberly-priceHi! My name is Kimberly and I am the owner of Move and Groove Fitness. I have over 15 years of dance experience, I am a certified group fitness instructor with CFES (Canadian Fitness Education Services), Emergency First Aid and CPR trained, as well as being a certified Hot Hula Fitness Instructor and a certified PiYo instructor.

      Fitness is something that has been a passion of mine for many years. I began taking dance lessons as a child and loved it. I have experience in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, hip hop and flamenco. Fitness came into my life later than dance, however I am just as passionate about it. My training has given me the skills and knowledge, to lead a safe and effective class, where everyone feels comfortable.  To me there is nothing better than getting in a good workout, while grooving to up-beat, fun music. That is why I started Move and Groove Fitness, so that I could share my passion for dance and fitness with others!

      All of the classes at Move and Groove Fitness have a dance or yoga component. The classes also all have lots of energy, great music, and are sure to give you results. I hope to see you in a class soon, so I can show you how much fun working out should be!

    PiYo Strength!

    If you want to get strong but don’t want to sit still, this rhythmic, dynamic, total-body workout is for you!

    With a constant flow of moves set to upbeat and empowering music, you’ll burn some serious calories while you build stability, strength, and flexibility.The mantra is power. What’s more is that PiYo is also great for those who have been dying for a transformational program that’s easy on your joints but delivers hard body results!!

    Please make sure to bring a water bottle to class as you WILL need it! A yoga mat is required for this class. Please wear comfortable workout attire. This class is done barefoot. See you there!
